Menzies CNAC Aviation Services Limited and the Vocational Training Council (VTC) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 8 April 2025, marking a significant step forward in fostering strategic collaboration between the aviation services industry and vocational education to nurture future-ready talent.

The MoU was signed by Mr. James YAP, Academic Director of the Business Discipline, VTC, and Mr. Dave LI, Director and General Manager of Passenger Services, Menzies CNAC. The signing was witnessed by Ms. Winnie NGAN, Senior Assistant Executive Director of VTC and Mr. Raymond LO, Chief Executive Officer of Menzies CNAC.

Through this partnership, both parties aim to collaborate in providing internship opportunities to equip students with hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of operations best practices, as well as progression scholarships to recognise students’ academic excellence, in order to cultivate a new generation of aviation professionals.  

Students from VTC also have a dialogue with Mr. Raymond LO to gain insights from the point of view of a CEO, in which he shared his experience and thoughts regarding AI technology usage, people development and ESG. In addition, the event also featured an innovation and technology experience session, using VR virtual reality to simulate air cargo operations in the loading and unloading process. Attendees experienced how VTC students transform what they have learned in the classroom into innovative solutions, demonstrating the achievements of integrating vocational education with technology.

With this MoU, Menzies CNAC continues its commitment to investing in future talent and advancing the professional development of Hong Kong’s aviation workforce.

中航明捷航空服務有限公司與職業訓練局(VTC)於2025年4月8日正式簽署諒解備忘錄(MoU)，標誌著中航明捷在促進航空服務業與職業教育的戰略合作，培育未來人才方面邁出了重要的一步。

諒解備忘錄由職業訓練局商業學科學術總監James YAP先生及中航明捷董事兼客運服務總經理Dave LI先生簽署。職訓局高級助理執行幹事Winnie Ngan女士及中航明捷行政總裁Raymond LO先生出席見證簽署儀式。

透過此合作關係，雙方將共同提供實習機會，讓學生獲得實務經驗，更深入了解營運的最佳實務，並提供進階獎學金，表揚學業成績優異的學生，以培育新一代的航空專業人才。

VTC 的學生還與 Raymond LO 先生對話，從 CEO 的角度獲得啟發。他分享了自己在人工智能技術應用、人才發展和 ESG 方面的經驗和想法。 此外，本次活動還安排了創新科技體驗環節，利用VR虛擬實境模擬航空貨物裝卸作業流程， 讓參加者親身體驗職訓局學生如何將課堂所學轉化為創新解決方案，展現職業教育與科技結合的成果。

憑藉此合作備忘錄，中航明捷將繼續致力投資未來人才，推動香港航空人才的專業發展。
